Craft Beer

What is "craft beer"?

It depends on who you ask, but essentially, craft beer refers to any beer made by an independent brewery. Like us! Craft brewers are small brewers. The hallmark of craft beer and craft brewers is innovation. Craft brewers interpret historic styles with unique twists and develop new styles that have no precedent. Craft beer is generally made with traditional ingredients like malted barley; interesting and sometimes non-traditional ingredients are often added for distinctiveness.

What is a microbrewery?

A microbrewery is a facility that produces limited amounts of the beer it makes, and typically keeps its sales local.

What is a flight?

A flight is a sample board of four of our beers of your choosing - a great way to get introduced to the Brewery and what it has to offer.


Can I reserve space for a private party?

Yes, you can. Please see our Events page to contact us about reserving the space for your event.

Can I make a reservation for a table?

No - we offer community seating and do not reserve tables. We encourage you to arrive early if you plan on coming with a larger group.

Do you have live music?

Yes, we do! We usually have live music every Friday night. You can check our social media accounts linked at the bottom of the page to see who's playing.

Do you host public events?

The Brewery

Where are you located?

We are located on 101 Walnut Street in Montclair, New Jersey, just a step down the block from the Walnut Street Train Station.

Do you have a parking lot?

We do - it's located behind our facility. There is also parking available on the surrounding streets, though certain spaces are metered.

Do you serve anything other than beer?

Well, Yes and no. In addition to our craft beer, we also make our own sodas and non-alcoholic beverages in-house. But, we are not a bar. We are not permitted to serve any other product, alcoholic or not, aside from our own.

Can I bring food there?

Yes, you can. We don't serve food and welcome you to bring outside food or have food delivered to the brewery.

Do you give tours?

Yes, we do! Just ask the bartender when you arrive. We will gladly introduce you to the Brewery.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, absolutely! We just ask that you keep your children occupied for their own safety. Bring snacks and activities for your little ones if you plan on bringing them to visit.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, you can! Dogs are allowed in our tap room. We ask that you keep them on leashes, and we don't reccommending bringing them if they're afraid of other dogs or other people.

Do you have WiFi?

We do - just ask for the info when you arrive.


How big can my party be?

Your party can be up to 8 people.

Are you still doing curbside and deliveries?

Yes, you can order for curbside pick-up and deliveries on our website at any time. Orders can be picked up Wednesday through Sunday. Deliveries take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

What are the policies for entry to outdoor seating?

Please enter from the Willow Street entrance at the rear of the brewery building. You must wear a mask in all public places except at your table. Those experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 are not permitted.

What do I do if there's a wait when I arrive?

It is important to practice social distancing and we are not permitted to have groups of people waiting on the premises which makes it more difficult to remain 6 ft away from others. Waiting in your car or at a safe distance until you have received an email or call alerting you that there is a table ready for you. You can also make a table reservation in advance to reduce or eliminate the need to wait for a table.

Are you taking reservations?

Yes, we are taking reservations to help limit the amount of traffic coming at a time. Reservations are strongly advised for weekends. We will take walk-ins when there is space. Reservations can be made at this link.
